There is always a need for blood in the United
States. Did you know that only 5% of the eligible population
gives blood? Accidents, surgeries, and other everyday occurrences
require a constant supply of donations. With the help of
the NC State Blood Drives, the American Red Cross can continue
to meet these needs every day. Unfortunately, since 2002
the number of pints collected at NC State has dropped 44%.
It is time to reverse that trend and make a difference for
so many people. We need donors, volunteers,
and recruiters for each drive, so please
consider giving a little of your time to save a life!

Sponsor A Blood Drive
If you, your area, or your department would like to sponsor a blood
drive at NC State, the American Red Cross (ARC) will gladly work with you!
You can have a large all day blood drive with sign-ups or a small blood drive
with walk-ins. You can also volunteer at a blood drive or help recruit donors.
