It is hard to summarize all that Michael does for our community. Michael participates in youth mentoring programs, as a licensed barber he provides young boys that reside at the Raleigh Salvation Army Shelter with free hair cuts and shaves, he also participates in a variety of programs that support academic college scholarships, and is an avid supporter of the Raleigh Meals on Wheels Program and the Raleigh Boys and Girls Club Program. One of the biggest projects that Michael has spearheaded was the North Carolina DMV Omega Psi Phi license plate. The project has raised over $14,000 for United Negro College Fund in North Carolina. If all this was not enough, Michael is a Transportation Officer (Captain) in the 230th Support Battalion of the National Guard. He is in his 19th year in the North Carolina Army National Guard. He is a combat veteran from Operation Iraqi Freedom II.
