We do not end our interest in our designated Scholars once they enroll at NC State. We have numerous communications that help us keep in touch, and we plan several special freshman events that give students excellent opportunities to both get to know the Scholarship staff and to meet fellow Scholars who often become treasured friends for the entire time spent at the University and then as alumni afterwards. Upperclass scholars continue their relationship with the office by serving as "Big Brothers" and "Big Sisters" to first year Scholars and by participating in each year's selection process.

The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid does not just focus on recruiting you for NC State and then delivering your scholarship stipends after you arrive. Our interest and our support go much further.
