Studios

The Crafts Center normally offers use of clay, darkroom, glass, lapidary, jewelry/metals, telescope optics, and woodshop studios. However, while our home in the Frank Thompson Building is being renovated (Summer 2007 - Spring 2009), The Crafts Center will operate out of a temporary facility located at 516 Brickhaven Drive that is unable to support all of the studio spaces we normally provide.  During the renovation period we will not have a clay studio, darkroom facilities, or a fully-equipped woodshop.

Studio Passes: Studio Passes are not available while we are in the Brickhaven location.   Studio access outside class will be available on a limited basis to those taking the class.

We are sharing the Brickhaven space with the University Theatre who have also been displaced from the Frank Thompson Building.  Crafts classes, theatre classes, and rehearsals are all very busy and noisy!  Unfortunately, this means that we anticipate studio availability outside of class times will be very limited.  Because of this limited availability, studio passes are not being offered.  Those enrolled in a class will have limited access to that studio outside of regular class hours.  Thank-you for understanding.
