Guilds
Meet like-minded artists at a craft guild meeting! The following guilds meet at The Crafts Center and have special programs each month:

TRIANGLE BASKET WEAVERS: Meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 7-9:30pm. Program topics include new basket styles or hands-on experience with new techniques. Please email Andria D'Errico (andria@andriaderrico.com) for more information.
TRIANGLE POTTER'S GUILD: Meets on the first Tuesday of each month from 7:30-9:30pm (except for June, July, and August). Activities include monthly programs, special workshops and firings, and group exhibitions.
TRIANGLE ART QUILTERS: Meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 7-8:30pm. Art quilters and other fiber artists are welcome.
TARHEEL GEM AND MINERAL CLUB: Meets on the third Tuesday of each month (except December) from 7-9pm.
WOODTURNERS GUILD OF NORTH CAROLINA [formerly Triangle Woodturners]: Meets on the second Thursday of each month from 7-9:30pm in the woodturning classroom.
OLD NORTH STATE KNITTERS: Meet on the second Monday of each month from 7-8:30pm with different programs.
NORTH CAROLINA POTTERY COLLECTORS: Guild that meets at The Crafts Center on the first Friday of each month from 7-9:30pm.

RALEIGH ASTRONOMY CLUB: Club members are available on Wednesday evenings to help with telescope making projects and for advice purposes. They meet the second and fourth Friday of each month at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. Contact (919) 460-7900 for more information.
