Parent/Guardian Access Setup

The student should follow these steps to setup an Parent/Guardian Access.

  1. Students login to MyPACK Portal. Go to "Main Menu", "Student Self Service".
  2. Select "Parent/Guardian Access" under "Campus Personal Information".
  3. On the Parent/Guardian Access page, read the message about granting access.

    NOTE: If you previously created a phone inquiry access PIN, you can delete or will have to create a new one when you set up the online access.

    Select the "Add Parent/Guardian" button.
  4. Read the "Informed Consent" page, including the "Read More" link if you have any questions concerning FERPA. Select the "I grant permission" check box. Select the "Continue" button.
  5. Enter your parent/guardian's name. Select the "Relationship".
    Select the type of information the parent/guardian will have access to view. Enter and re-enter the parent/guardian e-mail address. If your parent/guardian is a NC State employee, you may enter his/her unity ID. Enter a 4-digit PIN or code for phone inquiry access. This allows the parent/guardian to obtain this information via phone if needed. You will also need to create a hint for the PIN. Select the "Submit" button when complete.
  6. Review the information and click the "Save" button.
  7. Account status will say "Confirmed" once parent has reviewed and set up a password.
