Calculating the Cost of Using the Faculty/Staff Tuition Waiver
- Review your schedule for total number of classes and hours registered.
- Deduct hours of the class(es) listed on your waiver application.
- Calculate the amount due based on the remaining credit hours.

Undergraduates:
Register for one 3-hour class
Deduct 3 hours from your schedule
Billed for 0 hours
Register for a 3-hour class with a 1-hour co-requisite lab - 4 hours total: list both on waiver
Deduct 4 hours from your schedule
Billed for 0 hours
Register for 2 classes, 3 hours each - 6 hours total: list both on waiver
Deduct 6 hours from your schedule
Billed for 0 hours
Register for 2 classes, 3 hours each - 6 hours total: list only 1 class on waiver
Deduct 3 hours from your schedule
Billed for 3 hours
Register for a 4-hour and two 3-hour classes - 10 hours total: list the 4 and a 3 hour class
Deduct 7 hours from your schedule
Billed for 3 hours
Graduates:
Register for a 1 hour class
Deduct 1 hour from your schedule
Billed for 0 hours
Register for a 9-hour dissertation class
Deduct 9 hours from your schedule
Billed for 0 hours
Register for a 3-hour class with a 1-hour co-requisite lab - 4 hours total
Deduct 4 hours from your schedule
