How to Enroll in the Monthly Payment Plan
Students should follow these steps to enroll in the TMS Monthly Payment Plan. The annual plan allows you to spread your estimated costs for both Fall and Spring terms over a ten-month period for a fee of $55, or you can enroll for a single regular term (Fall or Spring) and spread payments over a five-month period for $40.
- View and print the TMS brochure.
- Determine your estimated costs for the school year.
Estimated cost of attendance for the school year are shown at: http://www7.acs.ncsu.edu/financial_aid/cost.html. The Payment Plan can only be used for those expenses that will be included on the student's bill. Those expenses include tuition and fees, meals and room charges. You would estimate the tuition, room and board based on the student residence classification and number of hours enrolled, reduce that amount by the amount of financial aid the student will receive, if any, and the amount that will be paid by the student directly. - To enroll, contact Tuition Management Systems (TMS) at (800) 356-8329 or on the web at www.afford.com.
