* The appointment must be in a permanent job position on a recurring basis; and the appointment must be to work 30 hours (.7500 FTE) or more per week;and the appointment must be for nine (9) or more months per calendar year.

  1. Eligibility for the Optional Retirement Program is rank of Lecturer, Librarian, Instructor, Professor or an approved Senior Academic and Administrative Officer (SAAO).

  2. The NC Flex Program includes Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Vision Plan, Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance, and the Dental Plan. Post Doc (s) are not eligible for benefits on this matrix.
