The University recognizes child care as a strategic priority directly related to the recruitment, retention, and productivity of its faculty and staff by providing benefits that assist parents in arranging for high quality affordable child care:

WolfPup Childcare Program
Offers tuition reduction and subsidized childcare benefits for full-time faculty and staff through Bright Horizons @ Raleigh Corporate Center (BH)

Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Account
This plan benefits eligible full-time and part-time employees with dependent children under age 13, an incapacitated spouse, or dependent adult who lives with the employee at least 8 hours a day. With this account, you may be reimbursed with pre-tax payroll contributions for qualified child and/or dependent adult care expenses.

*Please note there are tax consequences for the use of employer-provided child care benefits, such as the Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Account and the WolfPup Childcare Program. Make sure you are aware of the tax implications of these benefits.
