Benefits Mission

Our mission is to be a leader in providing for the human capital
needs of the University's workforce to attract and retain
diverse and skilled employees by:
- managing the overall design, administration, communication,
implementation and maintenance of benefits programs;
- establishing standards of measurement to analyze each
plan's effectiveness in terms of cost to value while ensuring
regulatory mandates and program objectives are met;
- ensuring staff is properly and continually trained to
effectively communicate how plans can be utilized to optimize
the benefits;
- maintaining a standard of customer service that reflects
the commitment of prompt responsiveness and accuracy;
- educating employees on enhancing their standard of living
through financial workshops;
- keeping abreast of market trends to proactively develop
innovative strategies that will enable us to explore and
introduce new benefit options; and
- enhancing technological capabilities to improve efficiency
