Eligible employees are provided a death benefit through the Teachers' and State Employees Retirement System (TSERS). However, this plan only covers you while you are in active service. For long-term coverage, employees should consider enrolling in the voluntary life insurance program sponsored by the University. Our voluntary plan allows for continued coverage once you retire.
