Benefits Mission


Our mission is to be a leader in providing for the human capital needs of the University's workforce to attract and retain diverse and skilled employees by:

  • managing the overall design, administration, communication, implementation and maintenance of benefits programs;

  • establishing standards of measurement to analyze each plan's effectiveness in terms of cost to value while ensuring regulatory mandates and program objectives are met;

  • ensuring staff is properly and continually trained to effectively communicate how plans can be utilized to optimize the benefits;

  • maintaining a standard of customer service that reflects the commitment of prompt responsiveness and accuracy;

  • educating employees on enhancing their standard of living through financial workshops;

  • keeping abreast of market trends to proactively develop innovative strategies that will enable us to explore and introduce new benefit options; and

  • enhancing technological capabilities to improve efficiency
