- Work behind the scenes at University Theatre.
The scene and paint shop, lighting and sound tech are always
looking for students who want to learn and grow. Contact the
technical director at Thompson Theatre or call 515.2405
- Employment
- At the beginning of each semester, the technical
director of Stewart Theatre recruits students to work in the
technical areas and as house managers and ushers in the theatre.
Hours will vary according to events booked, pay varies according
to experience and knowledge. Contact
Stewart Theatre 515.3927 at the beginning of each semester
to get application information.
- The scene and paint shop at Thompson Theatre
hires a student helper each year to help construct and paint
sets. Carpentry skills are helpful. Contact the technical
director of Thompson Theatre at 515.2405.
- Ticket Central hires students each year as
customer service agents for the ticket sales to events on
the campus at NC State. Hours will vary and include nights
and weekends. Contact the Ticket
Central Manager at 515.1100.
- The Crafts Center hires students to assist
in the operation of the facility. Contact the Director
of the Crafts Center for information at 515.2457.
