Student organizations and campus
organizations may book Stewart Theatre for your events.
Stewart Theatre is an 800 seat theatre located on
the second floor of the Talley Student Center and operated by University
Theatre.
Registered Student Organizations, Academic
and Administrative Units:
Stewart Theatre is available for registered student
organization, academic and administrative organization events. As
Stewart Theatre is supported in part by student fees, NC State organizations
do not pay the daily rental fee, but the organization is responsible
for the technical costs incurred by show set-up, operation and closing.
This may include lighting and sound operation, house managers and
ushers. Each booking organization is also required to provide four
volunteer ushers to work with the Stewart crew the night of the
event. The technical director will be able to help your organization
estimate the cost of your event.
Booking dates vary according to the type of organization
holding the event. Call Stewart Theatre at 515.3927 to determine
when you can book for the following academic year. The dates will
also be posted here as they open.
