NOTICE TO STUDENTS: Since 2001, ARTS NC STATE
and the Campus Arts Council (student organization) have purchased
original artwork of NC State students. Any currently enrolled, full-time
NC State student is eligible to submit artwork for judging. A committee
comprised of faculty, staff, students and local artists review the
submitted work and choose the art to be purchased. The chosen works
will become a part of the permanent collection displayed in the
Talley Student Center and Peele Hall.
To submit artwork, the following requirements must be met:
Artwork can be no larger than 52" X 52" including framing
Must be two dimensional (able to hang on wall)
Must be ready to hang (matted, framed, wired, etc.)
Reasonably priced ($400 or less)
Artist must be a full-time, currently enrolled NC State Student
LIMIT - ONE ENTRY PER STUDENT
The 2007 Student Art Purchase will be in April,
specific date to be announced. Artwork should be brought to Room
3122 of the Talley Student Center between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm on
the date specified. Artwork will be judged that evening and artists
will be notified by email of the results. For more information contact
